Abuse Situations 26- Restraining

The next situation was another time when we got in an argument. I remember we were in the Franks grocery store parking lot and he was screaming at me. I couldn’t take it anymore and I went to get out of the car. He threw his hand across my chest holding me in the car. I said, “What the fuck are you doing?” His reply was, “Well don’t get out of the car.” I said, “Get your fuckin hands off of me.” Blocking or restraining someone from getting by or out of someplace is a form of physical abuse. He ended up taking his hands off of me and when he stopped screaming we got out of the car and went in to shop. I think the only reason he never physically beat me was because he knew my mom would kill him.
