Abuse Situations 25- Scream Session

One incident we had was when we were driving home from the gym. It was him, his son, and I. We were just about to get off of 43 to get onto 12, heading towards Elkhorn. He had been screaming at me since we left the gym. I don’t even remember what he was screaming about. I normally would just shut up and not talk because there is no reasoning with a narcissist. If his son was around I also made sure not to say anything or I’d say, “We can talk about this later.” He kept screaming though, there was not stopping him. I finally broke and I screamed, “I didn’t cheat, you did, so shut up.” That shut him up. We didn’t talk the rest of the way home and he dropped me off. He told me, “I had to explain the cheating to his son, so thanks!” Yea, because that’s my fault, I forgot!
