Timeline 15-Trying to Fix Things yet Again

He started going to his counselor here and there and I was going to mine. I never told him the counselor wouldn’t do couples counseling anymore. I just told him I was done, so that’s why we weren’t going anymore. He wanted me to come back, but I told him no. He would stop to see me at my work and my house. I was out running hill sprints in my driveway and he showed up and ran some with me, so he could try and ask me to come back. I was being civil with him, but I didn’t want to be together. I told him that I was going to go to Vegas with my mom and look at apartments. I have been planning to move out there for the winter months and he knew that. He told me that he would go with me and we could look at anything I wanted. He said he wasn’t going to live in an apartment though because “he’s not going to be surrounded by those types of people.” I told him that I was just going to go with my mom. I told him there was no way he was going to be able to move out there because he has a son and he doesn’t have full custody of him. He told me that he was going to make it work because he wasn’t going to live another winter in Wisconsin. He wanted to move to Florida, but he decided he would settle for Vegas because Connor McGregor had a house there in the mountains and he wanted one like that too. He instantly bought him and I tickets to Vegas for November 15th 2018, but I still told him I wanted to go with my mom. He started being really nice to me though. He would bring me coffee, he bought he a new gym membership at the YMCA in Mukwonago, he took our pool down for me, he helped me get some things winterized. My counselor was still trying to convince me not to be with him, but I loved him and Dick was telling me that all my counselor was doing was trying to convince me he was bad. It was a hard situation, but he was being really nice, so I thought I’d go to dinner with him and see how things went.

Things were going good. We went to dinner a few times and we were talking about how we were going to fix ourselves and then get back together. This was happening from the end of September to the end of October. At the end of October I was leaving for a vacation in Belize. A week and a half before I left for Belize he started acting different. I had seen some pictures he had liked of some girl. I asked him if he was talking to her and he said no. I asked a few more times and he continued to tell me no. He had talked to her at the gym a few times, but that was it. He said he wasn’t going to that gym anymore, so he obviously wasn’t talking to her. I believed him, kind of, and let it go. He was supposedly really busy at work. On the 20th of October he was acting weird and ignoring me. I finally got a hold of him and asked him if I could come over and talk. He said “sure.” When I went over we stood on the deck figuring things out. I asked if we were going to be together and he said “not right now.” He said, “I want to fix myself and you fix yourself and then we will get back together.” I agreed, I thought that was a good idea. I had trust issues to fix and he needed to work on his anger and lying. I told him I loved him and he told me that he and his son loved me too. We had come to an agreement and he walked me to my car and hugged me and I went home.
